The flight info system that is on the panel shows bars that tell you where the trims and flaps are located. You have to have a way to get the position to the computer. To do this you mount sensors on the surfaces that move to transmit the info to the flight computer. The flaps use a Ray Allen sensor and it has to be mounted so that when the flaps are all the way up or down the sensor does not reach and end limit and get torn apart. I used RC rod and clevis to run from bulkhead to flap torque tube. I made brackets for the torque tube and the bulkhead. Operates very well with about 1/8" slack on each end, up or down.
